Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This policy explains what LyricFast (lyricfast.com) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what the product needs, we never sell your data, and we never use your audio to train models.

2. What we collect

• Account information from Google sign-in (name, email);
• the audio files you upload, and the transcripts and videos generated from them;
• payment records handled by our payment provider (Creem) — we do not store card numbers;
• first-party product events such as upload, render, and checkout steps;
• Google Analytics usage data such as page views, interactions, device and browser information, and approximate location.

3. How we use it

Uploaded audio is sent to our transcription provider (AssemblyAI) solely to generate word-level lyrics for your video, and to our render infrastructure (Trigger.dev) to produce the video itself. Files are stored on Cloudflare R2. Product and analytics events are used only to improve the service; they never contain your lyrics, filenames, or payment details.

4. Cookies

We use a session cookie for sign-in and an anonymous id cookie so your project survives a page refresh. We also use Google Analytics, which may set analytics cookies, to measure page views and product usage. We do not send audio, lyrics, filenames, or payment details to Google Analytics, and we do not use third-party ad trackers. You can control cookies in your browser, but sign-in and project restore will not work without essential cookies.

5. Data retention

Anonymous projects may be removed after 48 hours. Rendered videos are kept for at least 30 days — download your files promptly. Audio and corrected lyrics of unlocked songs are retained so re-rendering keeps working. Account and payment records are kept as long as your account exists, or longer where legal, security, or accounting obligations require it.

6. Sharing

We share data only with the processors needed to run the Service: Google (authentication and analytics), AssemblyAI (transcription), Trigger.dev (video rendering), Cloudflare R2 (storage), and Creem (payments). We do not sell your personal information.

7. Security

All connections are encrypted, and we apply appropriate technical measures to protect the data we process against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

8. Your rights

Email support@lyricfast.com to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. We do not currently offer a self-service deletion tool; some records may be retained where legal or accounting obligations require it.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page.
